I’ve always felt, but only recently got some intellectual awareness of the fact, that the western church focuses so much on the Great Friday’s suffering of Christ that the actual meaning of Easter, with Resurrection and joy at its core, gets somewhat overwhelmed by the gory images of Passion. I realized this while reading Richard Rohr’s books some time ago. He asks good questions that are not always obvious for someone like me, born and raised in Poland, which traditional culture is actually based on suffering and martyrology so much that we don’t even question it. For example, I don’t remember anybody explaining to me as a child, why would Christ “go down to hell” to resurrect after three days. Why would he need to go there if he was “good” and not “bad”? What was he doing there? I was a very contemplative child, you see 😉 No one wanted to deal with my questions, so I left the somewhat ludic church tradition of my culture quite early.
Anyway, Rohr compares the “glorification of suffering” in western iconography to the iconography of eastern church, in which we can clearly see the purpose of Christ’s descending into hell. He is pulling condemned souls out of there!* Obvious, right? Look at this image, he is literally dragging them away from down there! Adam and Eve seem rather reluctant to go back up…

Glorification of suffering. Psychological effects of such an archetype imprinted on people, generation after generation, is quite obvious when we look at western society. It may be hard to be full of joy and love when everyone around you expects you to suffer, because this is the most noble thing to do. If you are happy – you must be a crazy person! Don’t share your joy too much – “Don’t jinx it!”. Odpukaj w niemalowane!, Nie zapeszaj! Tfu, tfu tfu. Linguistic programming at its best!
Actually, English-speaking world must be a bit lighter it this respect. When somebody asks “How are you?” English speakers would say “I’m fine, thanks” despite the truth. Poles are thoroughly pessimistic – they won’t even pretend by saying “I’m fine!”. Culturally accepted thing is to start complaining about anything that comes to your mind right away! Even if you don’t have a reason to complain – find it, quickly! It may be anything! Weather, traffic, job… I’m sure your partner said something today, that you didn’t like, just remind yourself! Never say “Oh I’m fine, all is great!”. Don’t jinx it! Don’t risk jealousy, bad luck or a curse!
In such context, being joyful may just be the most spiritual thing you can do to change the world!

Christed Consciousness does not come here to suffer. It comes here to end suffering!
Love ends Suffering
This year during Eastertide I am reminded of the message that I first heard almost two years ago, when I started to contemplate The Seven Sacred Seals – a book and an online programme by Richard Rudd, a mystical journey within the Gene Keys’ Synthesis. The Third Seal, connected to the 25th Gene Key of Universal Love and Archangel Raphael, focuses on our mental body says:
All forms are vehicles for transporting and transmitting love.
Richard Rudd. 2022. The Seven Sacred Seals: Portals to Grace (2nd ed.). Poole: Gene Keys Publishing, p. 111.
Even love that is not love is still love.
(…)
Love ends suffering.
May this be my Easter wish to you!
I also want to share the very first channeled melody I recorded intuitively – it happened while I was working with this Seal and Archangel Raphael’s healing frequency. It was the first gentle instance of feeling the full scale of my true Voice within my body after a long period of silence. A healing happening in a real time, in a single precious moment of gentle humming.
Now I invite you to listen to this melody – may its frequency bring you healing in a way you need.
Story of this recording: I wanted to record for myself the whole invocation from Richard Rudd’s book, with beautiful music by Entheo as a background. (You can listen to this track in the Triple Flame app, choosing 10-minutes pause with music, and choosing “Rubesence” from the menu). I was reading aloud for the first time, and after this powerful statement – Love ends suffering – a full melody running from the lowest to the highest parts of my Voice came through – to my surprise, joy and tremble.
One last reminder that comes through the Voice Alchemy: Please know, that humming may be the most beautiful way to give yourself some self-love. The vibration of humming running through your physical body is the most subtle massage – from the inside out! It’s really great for nervous system regulation.
