Superficiality – Self-Assurance – Presence
Check its description in the Living Library. Here I put only my own contemplations as I follow the Venus Retreat 2024.
I’m a 20.2 in my Purpose and I know Superficiality very well. It was making my life a horror for quite some time. I have opened this blog with an idea to share my uneasy experiences of education and unlearning process, but the time doesn’t feel right yet. For now I just say, that the experience makes much more sense with the growing understanding of myself through both, Human Design and Gene Keys.
For me sitting in Superficiality is to sit in my Mind: restlessly analysing the past, feeding fears about the future, overthinking the plans I could have, decisions I should have made and all that mind’s “bla.. bla..”.
Self-Assurance is when I just breathe and observe these anxious thoughts and judgements, and it is a deep feeling of ease and relief that I do not have to make any decision based on that restless, “superficial” flow of thoughts; I do not have to even ‘make any sense’ of it, nor get to ‘logical conclusions’. I can just watch the flow of thoughts and ‘be assured’ that a decision will rise from another place when the time is right. Self-Assurance is like a mantra “I trust Life”, “Life knows better that me [my mind]”.
And Presence simply is. The Presence can be present and at ease in experiences embedded in both, shadow and gift frequencies. It can Be there to witness both my Superficiality and my Self-Assurance. There is no good or bad, right or wrong in the siddhi frequency.
Names of the 20th siddhi and shadow work very well for me: Superficiality feels really, almost literally on the ‘surface’ of my being. Somewhere high above the body, in my mind, above my head, with no real attachment to the body, to the real life. While the Presence is deep deep deep inside myself, within the body. Self-Assurance is a breath-long bridge between them, a deep Trust.
